Acceptable Use Policy

FortiSPY may be used only for legitimate, lawful and proportionate device administration.

Required practices

• Use only on devices you own or have documented authority to manage.
• Give users prominent notice of what is collected, the purpose, access and retention.
• Obtain consent or complete other required workplace procedures before collection.
• Disable unnecessary features and limit administrator access.
• Provide a process for complaints, access and deletion requests.

Prohibited use

• Secret surveillance, stalking, intimate-partner monitoring or monitoring without lawful authority.
• Capturing passwords, payment credentials, health data, privileged communications, union activity or protected information.
• Monitoring personal devices without express, informed authorization.
• Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, blackmail, identity theft or illegal activity.
• Bypassing operating-system security, anti-malware, network controls or access restrictions.
• Selling activity or using it for advertising or unrelated profiling.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected abuse, suspend service and report imminent harm or unlawful conduct. Report abuse to abuse@fortispy.com.
